So, here we are in Spain. We started by landing in Barcelona and after a Spanglish conversation with the lady at the hire car counter, we got the keys and proceeded to its allocated lot... only to find our car was smaller than the one Jack booked. Oh well, at least it goes and has places to put our luggage....

How many people does it take to free a sand bogged hire car on the coast of Spain? Apparently 11: the two Aussie tourists who bogged it, a Spanish pedestrian couple, a French couple with a caravan, 2 local couples driving by in sports cars and finally a man and his dog in a 4x4. (I think the dog makes 12)....

After our nice chill day at the beach in Torre de la Higuera, it rained most of the night and moring. This meant packing the tent up was a bit more difficult than intended, with us trying to fruitlessly dry and clean it from the sand and water. In the end we stuffed the tent and fly into a big garbage bag and shoved it in to boot to deal with later when we find a room to stay in for the night....

Yawn. We're in the plane on the way to Buenos Aires. I just woke up from a sleep that thankfully lasted most of the flight. Jack and I got stuck in the middle seats with a lady and her baby next to me. This airline has no in-flight entertainment, and it's a 15 hour flight....
