Well, we’re set up for our next move (in a few days). We are going for a mini road trip around Uruguay first (about a week) then we jump on a plane over to Brasil to continue road tripping (for another month). Our Portuguese is so-so, but hopefully it’ll be enough for a start.
Again, there’s nothing exciting to report. Keith returned for a little while, so we got to squeeze in a few more breakfasts, but due to us working so hard they weren’t that many.
We did take a day off work and went for a bus ride into the city centre. We went to the part called “the old city” and had a little walk around. There wasn’t much to Montevideo’s centre except for a few older styled buildings that looked kinda interesting. We did see this cool busking group; they were about an 7 piece band with various string instruments and two accordions and avkeyboard and drums…it was all very elaborate for a street performance.
Well, I guess that’s it for this entry. Next ones will be when we’re on the road again!
